7 Things...

Ok, so I have been tagged with this little about me thing.  I don't really have anyone in particular I am going to Tag because the people who have blogs that I read have already been tagged, but if you are reading this and want to blog 7 things about yourself then I think you should open up and share and even tag someone else if you would like to. 

The Rules... List 7 things about yourself, tag 7 people and link their blogs, and then leave comments on their blogs letting them know you have tagged them! 

So here it goes...

1.  I have always wanted to be an elementary teacher, however I suck at the college thing so I am dreaming that by the time my last child enters first grade I will be ready to graduate myself!

2.  I love chocolate...anything chocolate.  I think I could probably even eat bugs as long as they were dipped in a delicious not so cheap chocolate.  My husband always says him trying to give up Copenhagen is like me trying to not eat chocolate, and honestly he is probably right!  I love the stuff!

3. I am very shy, my close friends and family are the only ones that really get to see me come out of my shell.  When I first meet someone I hate to really say anything and almost always my chest turns red with white spots and my heart races a hundred times a second.  I love being around people but it is really hard for me to get to that comfort level. 

4.  I talk to my sister almost daily and for hours a day! It is very rare for us to not talk to each other at least once.  I honestly don't know what I would do if we weren't as close as we are. 

5. I am adventurous.  I love to travel and want to see every part of the world that I can.  I am the only one in my family to move out of the state of MT(my brother did for a few months at one point), and though it is hard because I miss them tons, I love being out and seeing new things and the experiences I've found. 

6. I love police work.  I don't know what it is about it but it is just awesome in my eyes.  I know there are some shady officers out there and I am sure there are plenty of people that think that policemen think too highly of themselves.  However I can't help but think anything but positive things and fully support the men and women in blue. Since I am married to one, a man in uniform is obviously very attractive to me and beyond that I think they are Kick A and great guys and gals that are out everyday keeping me safe and happy in this happy little world I live in.

7.  I most recently discovered this one.... I hate (and to me hate is a very strong word) but I absolutely hate X-Box.  I bought one for my husband for Christmas and truly have no love for that machine.

Where oh where have I been?

Ok, so I haven't blogged in about two weeks and now I am being NAGGED LOL... so I thought I should probably get on here and post something...anything.  So where have  I been the last two weeks.  Well to start off my son got sick, he was then joined by my daughter.  They were both miserable which may everybody in our happy little home miserable.  If that was not enough I ended up getting sick and was quickly followed by my husband getting sick.  I'm happy to report that both kids are back to feeling healthy but I am still dragging butt! 

I can't solely blame it on the illnesses though.  I was also lucky enough to have my best friend from Montana... well Seattle now, come down and visit me for four days.  We hung out and were basically lazy the entire time but it was great.  We went shopping for clothes together and I felt like I was back in high school, it was so fun to do the girl thing.  My husband roles his eyes whenever I even mention the word shopping so it was great to have someone that just wanted to have fun and try on a hundred outfits.

So that is it, that is where I have been and what I have been doing for the last two weeks which has kept me off of here!   I promise to try to be better!!

So my dear sister talked me into joining all ten of her ATC swaps this month and this was the result of my first attempt. I chose the color black in the rainbow colors one.  I will post more as I finish them... Hopefully sometime soon or she is going to kick my butt!!

Christmas in March...maybe April

In our family we draw names between the adults for Christmas presents and we drew the names during Thanksgiving 2006 so we had more than a year to properly prepare.  My sister, mom, and I all got each others names so we decided that since it was between us girls we should make each others presents.  I agreed without hesitation knowing that I had more than a year and surely I could get something made in that time.  Well here it is March already and still I have not finished my present for my mother and I have not received my gift from my sister yet either (My mom was on top of things and got my sister's beautiful gift finished in time).  I have switched what I was making four times and just ordered new supplies yesterday for a new project that will hopefully work out.  So maybe just perhaps we can finally open our Christmas presents in March this year.... but surely by April right? 

Flush the Toilet!

What in the world is so hard about flushing the dang toilet?  I woke up the other morning and out of the three bathrooms I went in to clean, three toilets had the seats nicely raised, business done, and what do you know someone forgot to flush all three of them!  This isn't a first for me.  When I was in high school my little brother and I shared a bathroom and he used to do the same thing.  However when I had enough of him doing that I just kicked him out and he had to start using the downstairs bathroom.  So what do you do when your husband and two year old don't flush the toilets?  I can't kick them out of the bathrooms... can I?  Sorry for the vent, but I just woke up to find two toilets unflushed once more, after my very stern talk with both my boys and I just can't take it any more.  They obviously don't care, of course they aren't the ones trying to scrub that yellow ring out of the toilet anyways.  But seriously, how hard is it to flush the toilet?

Trying something new...

OK, so my sister has been harping on me ever since she got her blog www.inkinandthinkin.typepad.com that I needed to get one. So needless to say here I am! I do not know much about blogging but am excited to get on and play after all that I have seen her do. Well I am going to get back to trying to figure this thing out and will post more later.
